Today - January, 2023
Today, in 2023, we can look back on more than 40 years of experience in the field of screwing and CNC milling technology. On the way there, a number of challenges were overcome - always hand in hand with the employees of Ernst Berger and Sons JUWEL-Schraubtechnik GmbH.
But let's jump back to 1980...
1980
The year is 1980: Ernst Berger decides to leave his life as an employee behind and take the risk of becoming self-employed together with his sons Siegfried and Jochen Berger.
1983
The production area soon had to be expanded: another company building was built right next to the main hall.
1988
As a trained toolmaker, Ernst Berger, founder of the company, was able to expertly operate all processing machines - here at work on a milling machine.
1992
An established family business has developed from a small team in a hall for milling and turning machines.
1994
In order to present the torque wrenches to international customers as well, visiting trade fairs was an indispensable instrument for acquiring new customers.
1996
The first logo of the company Ernst Berger & Sons JUWEL-Schraubtechnik GmbH - the initials of the founder, Ernst Berger and the jewel-typical green.
1999
The name JUWEL stands for quality and durability of torque wrenches. The number of large orders increases thanks to the reliable reputation in the market.
2005
In 2005, this BE-52 hydraulic wrench was built and delivered to one of our customers. Today, in 2023, after 18 years, the screwdriver has been calibrated and returned for more years of reliable service.
2014
The demand for electric power screws without a cable is constantly increasing. The TQS series is successfully used as a battery variant of the brand JUWEL introduced to the market.
2015
In the course of the introduction of a new homepage and social media presence, the new logo was designed and introduced: the green color of the company will be retained.
2016
In Asia, too, the torque wrenches are known from knowledge an der Sieg. After successful consultation we have over 80 JUWEL torque wrench delivered to Mumbai.
